Babette Regierer

Summary

Babette Regierer is a professional proposal writer and consultant for scientific strategy development with more than 15 years of experience, especially in the German and European research arena. Her experience encompasses active participation in project development, design, and writing of competitive project proposals for national and international funding programs including the EU Framework programs. Her successful proposal-writing activities have secured funding of more than 80 Mio EUR. Beyond the life science field, she is also involved in projects related to international cooperation and innovation management.
Babette graduated in Biology and Theology and did her PhD in the field of Plant Molecular Biology. She started to work as science manager in 2001 and worked for universities and research institutes covering the whole range of the life science field including systems biology, but was also involved in activities for regional development related to academia-industry cooperation and establishment of European and international networks and infrastructures.
