Summary
I am a blockchain developer as well as a professor at Vancouver Island University. I am an expert in applied cryptography, cybersecurity, blockchain technology, and data privacy. My current research spans a wide range from technical aspects to structural equation modelling to develop novel contributions to the area, by developing guidelines and methods for embedding privacy, user transparency, control, trust and incentives from the start in the design of a data-sharing framework.
I completed my Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Saskatchewan. I obtained my MSc degree in Ethical Hacking and Computer Security from the University of Abertay Dundee. I have also got my Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Tribhuvan University.
I worked as a Division Assistant in the Research Training and Consultancy Division (RTCD) at KEC, Tribhuvan University. I have also worked as a Project Supervisor at The British College, a Franchise college of Leeds Beckett University in the UK. Besides, I worked as a researcher at Lyon 2 lumière Université, France on a collaborative research project to build a common cloud platform for meta-products. Also, I have worked in collaboration with US-based company ARTiFACTS to explore and experiment with blockchain technologies in research artifacts sharing.
When I'm not teaching, programming, or studying, I'm probably travelling, especially if it entails trekking or discovering new places.
