PeerJ exhibiting at the ASCB Annual Meeting this week

Cell Biology is, of course, a very large field, but already PeerJ has a substantial presence in the area, with over 115 Academic Editors covering various aspects of the discipline. In addition, our Advisory Board contains several world-renowned Cell Biologists including, for example Mina Bissell (past-president of the American Society of Cell Biology), Adrian Bird (ex Governor of the Wellcome Trust), and John Gurdon (the most recent Nobel Laureate).

Therefore it was a natural fit for us to exhibit at this week’s American Society of Cell Biology meeting in San Francisco. Two of us (Pete Binfield, and Jackie Thai) will be in attendance in the Exhibitor’s hall Sunday through Tuesday (Booth 1325), and we very much look forward to meeting our Academic Editors there, as well as anyone who is interested in learning more about us. There will be free giveaways each day – we will be demonstrating the submission system and explaining the ways in which PeerJ represents a new and exciting publication venue for all Cell Biologists.

In the meantime, we encourage anyone who is interested in experiencing the PeerJ publication process to submit their work to us now. We are fully open for submissions and expect to publish our first articles in January 2013 – submit now to be among our earliest publications!
